UPDATE - Cross Street Hit-and-Run: Police hunt red hatchback

Police are hunting for a red hatchback car following a sickening hit-and-run accident on Cross Street just after 9 o'clock on Saturday evening.

Sources told StAnnes247 that the incident had been captured on CCTV by local businesses. The vehicle turned into Cross Street after passing Tesco on St David's Road North. A local resident in his 80s suffered serious leg injuries in the incident. It is understood that the car briefly stopped before hastily driving away.
